Nike By Melrose

This project was unique in that the retail concept development and the pilot timeline were merged into one, with the final deliverable as this concept store located in Los Angeles, on Melrose Avenue, created in approximately 8 months from brief to opening day.

Given the aggressive timeline, and the new variables for Nike retail, such as locally data-informed product offerings, customized fixtures to complement product presentation, new digital communication and storytelling there was inherently a need for a lot of communication and collaboration.

I was able to spearhead this by hosting and facilitating deep dive working sessions, with many internal teams and the LA build vendor, to solve for these new features like the shoe bar designs and the all of the perimeter fixtures, analog and digital communication, etc.

What was created was a “ship in a bottle” move-in, proof of concept for this retail proposition, that went on to become the basis for further evolution.
